   In addition to our Luncheon & Silent Auction, DOCF has organized and/or participated in the following past activities.

 DOCF Billboards

DOCF purchased two billboards for September to spread ovarian cancer awareness.  These billboards are from previous years and were put up on I-95, Kirkwood Highway, and Rt. 41. We hope you saw them!

 CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL INVOLVED IN THIS EVENT!!

You raised $2,234 to benefit the DOCF Mission!  

This event featured guest bartenders (DE State Rep. Mike Ramone et al), silent auction, raffles, and live entertainment.
All money raised was donated to DOCF.

DOCF bookmarks, listing ovarian cancer symtoms and risk factors and DOCF contact information were placed in local libraries for patrons to take.  We also placed an ad in the DE Women's Journal,
January Issue. 

2nd Zoombathon to Fight Ovarian Cancer

DOCF got their Zumba on to raised awareness and money.  More than $1,000 was raised to further the DOCF mission.

Thank you to ovarian cancer survivor Henrietta Belcher-Stack for organizing this special fundraiser in lower Delaware.

This was a special fundraiser, organized by Brittany Bosari in Honor of her Mom, Wendy Bosari.  Wendy is an 8+ year ovarian cancer survivor.  Proceeds from this special fundraiser were donated to DOCF through Team Wendy at the DOCF 5K Run/Walk.

This well attended, special fundraiser was organized by Henri Belcher-Stack, Survivor.

Guest instructors, Jen Palaico and Robin Hayden Wright, volunteered their time to guid participants on how to Zumba...

Door prize donations were obtained from
Nancy Fry, Blooming Boutique, Accents Fashion Jewelry, Artistic Spa and Salon, Fulton Bank, Lenox. Paula Szyjka, DOCF, Lewes Library and WSFS Bank.

Proceeds benefited DOCF

 Local salons distributed ovarian cancer information (DOCF brochures) to their clients and collected donations on behalf of DOCF.

 Teal Extensions for Awareness

  Gloss Salon did teal hair extensions to promote ovarian cancer awareness. Gloss donated $5 of the $10 cost to DOCF in support of our mission.

DOCF participated in this special event held on November 5, 2011 for cancer survivors and their caregivers.  Attendance was up from last
year, with 170 attendees, including several ovarian cancer survivors.  Opus One Vocal Jazz Ensemble gave a fantastic performance and received a standing ovation.
