Our Volunteer Needs

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

• Marketing- Help promote our organization and events.  DOCF needs a marketing guru to get more media exposure and help promote awareness.  You just may save someone's life ! !
  
  General - Distribute our literature to area healthcare facilities/providers so they can display the information for their patients.  Help also is needed at area health fairs and other DOCF events.
   
• Run/Walk - Many volunteer opportunities are available relating to the annual Teal Ribbon 5K, including: distributing event literature to local businesses; obtaining refreshment donations (fruit, bagels, water, etc.); obtaining sponsors; obtaining gift certificate donations from local businesses (restaurants, health clubs, salons/spas, etc.); making follow-up phone calls relating to sponsorships/donations; help also is needed the day of the event to work the registration tables, hand-out water/refreshments, take photos and video, set-up/take-down and clean-up,  and more...
